Abstract

The invention discloses a DSL-based VLAN configuration synthesis method. The invention aims to solve the problems that the current network management personnel manually allocate and configure VLANs, and the manual configuration is prone to errors and the link utilization rate is low. By defining DSL, the invention enables users to describe topology information and self-defined policy information by using DSL, realizes VLAN division and corresponding configuration generation satisfying topology structure and user strategy, reduces possible errors in manual configuration and improves link utilization. The main steps are: 1) obtaining network topology information; 2) obtaining user policies; 3) VLAN division; 4) generating configuration files. A DSL-based VLAN configuration synthesis method proposed by the invention can automatically generate configuration files according to user input strategies, reduce possible errors in manual configuration, balance broadcast traffic costs between VLANs, and improve link utilization.
