Abstract

An automatic driving control apparatus of a vehicle includes: a processor that determines activation of an automatic driving function according to whether a current driving situation satisfies an activation condition of the automatic driving function during automatic driving control; and a storage device configured to store a set of instructions and data for determination and execution by the processor. In particular, when the activation condition is not satisfied but the user inputs a request to activate the automatic driving function, the processor controls the vehicle to satisfy the activation condition and then determines activation of the automatic driving function.
