The loop filtering method comprises the following steps: determining all possible filtering sequences of a plurality of loop filtering tools on the basis of the plurality of loop filtering tools for performing loop filtering on a reconstructed image, the filtering sequences being working sequences of the plurality of loop filtering tools; determining the filtering performance of each filtering sequence in all possible filtering sequences; selecting a filtering sequence with the highest filtering performance from all possible filtering sequences based on the filtering performance; and filtering the reconstructed image according to the selected filtering sequence.
