Abstract

The invention relates to an electric actuator and an output device. Disclosed is an electric exciter designed to be connected to a plate-like structure and comprising a voice coil arrangement having at least one voice coil, a magnetic circuit system having a movable magnetic circuit component and a static magnetic circuit component, and a spring arrangement coupling the static magnetic circuit component to the movable magnetic circuit component and allowing relative movement therebetween. Both the spring arrangement and the magnetic circuit system provide a total restoring force (FT) directed toward the idle position of the movable magnetic circuit component. The portion of the total restoring force gradient ([delta] FT / [delta] z) caused by the magnetic circuit system is at least 10% of the total restoring force gradient ([delta] FT / [delta] z) at the idle position of the movable magnetic circuit component. In addition, an output device having an electric actuator mounted to a plate-like structure is disclosed.
