Abstract

The presser device of sewing machine comprises a push-up lever rotatably supported on a sewing machine frame and urged by a spring, and a connecting rod linked to the push-up lever, a swinging shaft rotatably supported on a bushing so as to engage with the connecting rod, a presser seat connected to a crank piece of the swinging shaft and having the presser foot fixed at the tip, and an elastic member engaged with the presser seat. A bracket is provided on a back face of the sewing machine frame so that its fixing position is changed. The bushing is fixed to the bracket. The crank piece of the swinging shaft can be divided in two. Each engaging surface of the divided crank piece of the swinging shaft is refixed at the time of changing of the fixing position of the bracket so that an eccentric part of the crank piece is not changed from initially set position.
