Abstract

PURPOSE: A socket for electric components is provided to test electric parts such as a display panel of a flat type by allowing an opening and shutting member to be operated easily. CONSTITUTION: An opening and shutting member(16), rotated by a rotating shaft(28), is installed at a socket body(15). A pressure part supplies pressure to one of opening direction and shutting direction in the opening and shutting member. A cam shaft(31) with a D-type cross section is rotatively installed at the opening and shutting member or the socket body. An opening and shutting lever(32) is prepared. The opening and shutting member operates against pressure of the pressure part by rotating the opening and shutting lever and by contacting flat surface(31a) or cylinder surface into the opening and shutting member or the socket body.
