Embodiment Construction

[0024] Aiming at the characteristics of the burst optical signal and the limit amplifier, the present invention provides a mechanism, which can provide different voltage levels to the two input terminals of the limit amplifier through a fast-response switching circuit when there is no optical signal input, so as to prevent the limit amplifier from Oscillating behavior due to noise.

[0025] figure 2 It is a block diagram of a burst type optical receiver according to an embodiment of the present invention. The burst-type optical receiver includes an optical sensor 21 , a resistance amplifier 22 , a limiting amplifier 23 and a control circuit 24 . The light sensor 21 receives the light signal L1 and converts it into a current signal S1 ; wherein the current signal S1 has different signal levels corresponding to the intensity of the light signal L1 . The impedance amplifier 22 receives the current signal S1 and converts it into a first transmission signal S2 and a second trans...

Abstract

A sudden optical receiver includes: an optical sensor receiving an optical signal and converting it to a current signal; a resistance amplifier receiving the current signal and converting it to a first transmission signal and a second transmission signal; a limit amplifier having a first input and a second input, and an output to output a data signal; and a control circuit, coupling in the first transmission signal and the second transmission signal, to determine the validity of the optical signal; among them, the control circuit further coupling in the first input and the second input of thelimit amplifier. When the optical signal valid, the control circuit controls the first input and the second input respectively coupling to the first transmission signal and the second transmission signal, to generate the data signal; when the optical signal invalid, the control circuit controls the first input and the second input coupling to different voltage level, in order to make the data signal to a fixed voltage level.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a burst optical receiver, in particular to a burst optical receiver which is not affected by noise when no optical signal is input. Background technique [0002] Optical burst mode receivers are widely used to receive optical signals transmitted by multiple optical communication network units with parallel inputs and different transmission distances. Multiple optical communication network units use the same optical receiver to transmit data. Due to different distances, the data transmitted to the receiver will have a window period, and the receiver cannot judge the length of the window period. This behavior is called burst type. Since the distance between each optical communication network unit and the burst-type optical receiver is different, the signal strength and quality are different. How to accurately identify the signal transmitted by each optical channel network unit becomes the key point of the burst-type optic...
