Inside the intake duct 6 is provided a throttle valve 9 driven by a step motor. Further, around the intake duct 6 is provided a cooling device for cooling the intake air circulating inside the intake duct 6. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, engine cooling water is led inside the cooling device 10, where the engine cooling water cools the intake air.
