Information is stored regarding a redemption code; such information may include one or more parameters and certain redeemable content associated with each parameter. A user may send a request concerning access to redeemable content associated with a certain redemption code. It is determined what parameters may be applicable. For example, the request may be received at a certain time following the start of a promotion. A modification associated with the parameter may be identified and applied to the redemption code. The user may then use the modified redemption code to gain access to redeemable content. An administrator may determine the parameters and what redeemable content is associated with each parameter.
