The detection device is provided with a sampling mechanism, a recycling mechanism and a detection mechanism. The discriminating method includes a step 1) of establishing a model for discriminating front and back whiteness index differences of the tobaccos and the middle leaves and upper leaves; a step 2) of detecting front whiteness indexes and back whiteness indexes of to-be-discriminated tobaccos, and substituting the front and back whiteness index differences into the discriminating model determined in the step 1), to determine tobacco parts. According to the method for discriminating the middle leaves and the upper leaves of the flue-cured tobaccos, the front and back whiteness index differences of the tobaccos and the tobacco parts have a very strong correlativity. Through a modeling method, appearance difference characteristics of the upper leaves and the middle leaves can be well reflected, and thus the established discriminating model can be utilized to effectively identify thetobacco parts. The front and back whiteness index differences can be detected conveniently through a color photometer, the detection process is simple, the requirements for detection environments andsamples are low, and the method has very good application prospects in the precise evaluation of the tobacco quality and automatic classification of tobacco parts.

The superscalar data processing apparatus comprises a plurality of execution pipelines for executing the operations, and issue logic for allocating each operation to one of the execution pipelines for execution by that execution pipeline. At least two of the execution pipelines are memory access capable pipelines which can execute memory access operations, and each memory access capable pipeline is associated with a subset of the plurality of execution threads. The issue logic is arranged, for each execution thread, to allocate any memory access operations of that execution thread to an associated memory access capable pipeline. Such a system has been found to provide an effective balance between increasing the efficiency of operation of the superscalar data processing apparatus when employing multiple execution threads whilst also alleviating the need for complex hardware to handle hazard detection.
