The invention discloses a building with a multifunctional rope release device. The multifunctional rope release device is arranged on a roof of the building. The multifunctional rope release device comprises an electric transmission system or hydraulic transmission system or pneumatic transmission system, rotating bodies and a descent control device. A rotation shaft of a motor of the electric transmission system or hydraulic transmission system or pneumatic transmission system is connected with the corresponding rotating body which is connected with a ratchet wheel. The above descent controldevice is arranged on the corresponding rotating body, wherein descent control ropes of the above descent control device extend out from the rotating body, then are wound around the rotating body or wound around a coiling block and extend out from the rotating body or the coiling block to be connected with a weight. The multi-functional rope releasing equipment is arranged on the roof of the building and comprises a power transmission system or a hydraulic transmission system or a pneumatic transmission system, a rotating body and a pull rope; a rotating shaft of a motor of the power transmission system or the hydraulictransmission system or the pneumatic transmission system is directly connected with the rotating body or is connected with the rotating body by virtue of a transmission mechanism; the rotating body is connected with a ratchet mechanism; the pull rope is connected to the rotating body; after extending out of the rotating body, the pull rope is wound on the rotating body or is wound on a coiling block and extends out of the rotating body or the coiling block; a cable connected with an electromotor extends outwards; the cable is connected with a power supply above the part, with the multi-functional rope releasing equipment, of the building through main contacts of contactors; and a coil of each contactor is connected with a PLC and the power supply to form a loop.
