environmentally friendly marine
antifouling coating, its preparation method, and its application. Belonging to the field of marine antifouling materials technology, it comprises the following components: a fluorinated
quaternary ammonium salt polysiloxane
prepolymer; nano-
titanium dioxide; a curing agent; and pigments. The fluorinated
quaternary ammonium salt polysiloxane
prepolymer is prepared by
dehydration condensation reaction of
quaternary ammonium salt
silane monomer A, phenyl
silane monomer B, and fluorinated
silane monomer C in an
organic solvent under the action of an
alkaline catalyst. The quaternary ammonium salt compounds used in this invention possess excellent environmental compatibility and outstanding rapid antibacterial and algaecidal effects, endowing the material surface with continuous microbial inhibition and killing properties. By disrupting the integrity of bacterial
cell membranes and interfering with the activity of biological enzymes, it blocks the
colonization and
reproduction chain of marine attached organisms from the source, significantly improving the
coating's resistance to typical
fouling organisms such as barnacles and diatoms. Simultaneously, it can significantly improve the
coating's modulus and
hardness, making it more resistant to scratches, abrasions, and impacts.
