Abstract

A electrical socket that provides current overload warning function, includes at least one plug socket; a pair of input terminals, for supplying power to the plug socket after the connection; a magnetic reed relay, which comprises a conductive coil and a dry-reed tube. The said conductive coil is connected in series between one of the two input terminals and the plug socket, and the said dry-reed tube connects an warning apparatus, accordingly when the total consumed current size of one or more loads connected to the plug socket, and flowing through said conductive coil exceeds the operating current value that magnetic red relay sets, the magnetic contact of the dry-reed tube is drived to work and to start the warning apparatus, so as to send the warning immediately.
