Two nets 1 which are same and parallel to each other are arranged at the center of the court, the distance between the two nets 1 is about 2.5 meters, a ''buffer area'' forms between the two playing sides, then the distance of the counterwork of the two playing sides is lengthened, the close-distance contentions of smashing and blocking of the two sides are avoided, the structure is propitious that each side can gain time to face the battle in defending and counterattack to the other side. The double-net volleyball causes that the two sides often do counterwork with a plurality of rounds to win each score because of the easy defending, the competition will caused to be furious and wonderful and will bring more amusement to the spectator. Also a plurality of public can participate the double-net volleyball because that the height of the net is only about 1.7 meters.
