Abstract

The invention discloses a solid or flash storing device which consists of flash memories. The invention comprises a mainboard and a plurality of flash cards. The mainboard comprises a host interface, a cache, a data management cell and a plurality of card interfaces. The flash cards are connected with the mainboard through the card to be used for storing data. The flash cards can be demounted or replaced freely. Each flash card is an independent memory (for example, an SD card used for a digital camera or a MiniSD for a mobile phone). When a plurality of flash cards are inserted into a groove of the storing device, the flash cards work independently and exchange data with the mainboard under the management and harmony of the data management cell. Therefore, the memory capacity of the flash storing device can be enhanced only by replacing any flash card without changing the whole storing device; the memory capacity of the flash storing device can be expanded easily, thereby being convenient for the use of customers.
