Abstract

An image reproducing apparatus and a method of improving an image quality are provided. The image reproducing apparatus includes a first filter unit which filters an input image signal, a second filter unit which amplifies the input image signal filtered through the first filter unit, and a control unit which measures a frequency level of the input image signal and controls the first filter unit to filter the input image signal on the basis of the measured frequency level.
