Abstract

The invention provides an application server and an authentication method of an intelligent user terminal binding a common communication terminal. The method comprises following steps: the application server distributes a service number for the intelligent user terminal; the intelligent user terminal sends a request of carrying a specified number to the application server to request to be bound to the common communication terminal of the specified number; the common communication terminal starts a call; the call of the common communication terminal triggers the application server via a core network; the application server utilizes the service number and the specified number to carry out authentication to a calling number and a called number which are carried by the call, and if the authentication is successful, the intelligent user terminal is allowed to be bound to the common communication terminal. The invention can cause users of the intelligent user terminal to conveniently and rapidly complete the authentication of binding the common communication terminal.
