Embodiment Construction

[0021] The present invention will be further described in detail below in conjunction with specific embodiments and accompanying drawings.

[0022] The invention provides a method for realizing multipoint-to-multipoint Ethernet services with a root node. The method uses a mark to indicate whether a certain message is from a user-side interface (UNI-Root) node of the root attribute or a leaf attribute The network that the user-side interface (UNI-Leaf) node enters; and for each node contained in the E-TREE service (including all nodes that the service may pass through), a message is generated for each network-side interface according to its position on the network Forwarding rules, through which the forwarding of packets is controlled.

[0023] An embodiment of the present invention will be illustrated below with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0024] Such as figure 1 As shown, four nodes of node A, node B, node C and node D constitute a metropolitan Ethernet networ...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method and a system for realizing multipoint to multipoint Ethernet services with root nodes, and the method includes the following steps: S1. root attributes or leaf attributes and a forwarding rule table are configured at an interface of a user side; S2. the user side interface correspondingly adds an attribute identifier for the received message according to root attributes or leaf attributes of itself, and a network side interface generates a forwarding rule table of itself according to the forwarding rule table at the user side interface which is connected with the network side interface; and S3. the user side interface and the network side interface will discard the messages if not finding out the attribute identifier carried by the message in the forwarding rule table of each interface, otherwise forward the messages. The invention accords with the forwarding rules among user side interfaces defined in G.8011.4 in the course of forwarding, meanwhile, the messages can access to the network from the same user side interface of one node, thereby making bandwidth control simple and improving the flexibility of service design.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the Ethernet service in the communication field, in particular to a method and system for realizing the multipoint-to-multipoint Ethernet service with a root node. Background technique [0002] ITU-T G.8011 (Ethernet Service Framework) defines a metropolitan Ethernet service, including Ethernet physical interfaces, bandwidth profiles, performance parameters, service class identifiers, and service multiplexing. [0003] ITU-T G.8011.4 defines a multipoint-to-multipoint Ethernet service with a root node (Rooted-Multipoints Ethernet Connection, hereinafter referred to as E-TREE service). In this document, two types of User Network Interface (UNI) included in the Ethernet service (EC) are defined: one is the user-side interface (UNI-Root) of the root attribute; the other is is the user-side interface (UNI-Leaf) of the leaf attribute. It is also stipulated that the user-side interface of the root attribute can communicate ...
