Abstract

The invention discloses a washing device and a control method thereof. The washing device includes an input section selecting the washing mode based on the likes of the fruits and vegetables; a plurality of spray holes; a spray nozzle selecting at least part of the plurality of spray holes according to the washing mode and spraying the wash water; a washing pump supplying it to the nozzle pressure of the spray nozzle; a water supply valve controlling the water supply operations of cold water and warm water; and a control section, controlling the operations of the spray nozzle, the washing pump and the water supply valve. The invention modulates the water pressure and spray states of the wash water based on the likes of the fruits and vegetables, so that the damage to the fruits/vegetables is minimized and the effective washing operations can be processed. In addition, the invention sets up an additional assistance shelf for accommodating the fruits/vegetables, which can more effectively improve the washing properties of washing device.
