Abstract

Disclosed is a double-disk gate valve for blocking conduits, comprising a housing that has a first sealing plate (7) and a second sealing plate (8) which can be moved into an open position and an closed position. A pipe bridge (4) is inserted into the conduit in the open position of the first sealing plate (7) and second sealing plate (8) while a first sealing disk (23) and a second sealing disk (24) are inserted into the conduit in the closed position. A translational actuating element (2) moves the double-disk gate valve into the open position and the closed position. The pipe bridge (4) isdisposed between the translational actuating element (2) and the first sealing disk (23) and second sealing disk (24). The translational actuating element (2) is connected to a system support plate (1) which transmits the positioning movement of the actuating element (2) in the direction of the open position and closed position to the first and second sealing plate (7, 8). The system support plate is provided with a recess for guiding through the pipe bridge (4) in the area facing the drive unit.
