Abstract

The invention provides an interface device for coupling a capillary electrophoresis with an inductively coupled plasma mass spectrograph and use method thereof. The interface device is characterized by comprising a stainless steel capillary pipe, a sample solution peristaltic pump and a T-shaped capillary pipe, wherein the stainless steel capillary pipe is connected with a high voltage source, aninlet on the left end thereof is respectively connected with the capillary electrophoresis and a miniflow and sheath flow pipe, and the output end of the stainless steel capillary pipe is connected with the input end of the T-shaped capillary pipe by the sample solution peristaltic pump; the output end of the T-shaped capillary pipe is connected in the inductively coupled plasma mass spectrograph;and the lower end of the T-shaped capillary pipe is connected with the output end of a wash solution peristaltic pump, and the modes of continuous sample introduction and collective sample introduction can be adopted during test. The device has simple structure and solves the problem of hard coupling of the capillary electrophoresis and the inductively coupled plasma mass spectrograph.

Example Embodiment

[0011] Example 1
[0012] When the sample is separated in the capillary electrophoresis instrument, the current controller controls the rotation of the cleaning solution peristaltic pump 4 and stops the sample solution peristaltic pump 5, which will not affect the separation of the capillary electrophoresis instrument; when a certain component in the sample is separated, The current controller controls the cleaning solution peristaltic pump 4 to stop, and rotates the sample solution peristaltic pump 5 to send the components to be measured into the inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer for measurement. Since the peristaltic pump 4 has stopped and no auxiliary liquid enters, the inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer The sensitivity of the instrument is not affected. The detection limits of different substance concentrations in the collection and injection mode are shown in Table 1.

Example Embodiment

[0015] Example 2
[0016] When the sample is separated in the capillary electrophoresis apparatus, the current controller controls the cleaning solution peristaltic pump 4 and the sample solution peristaltic pump 5 to rotate at different speeds at the same time. When a certain component in the sample separates and flows out of the capillary, it is immediately sent into the inductively coupled plasma Mass spectrometry is used for the determination, the determination speed is very fast and the dead volume is small, so as to realize continuous sampling. The detection limits of different substance concentrations in continuous injection mode are shown in Table 2.

[0018]
[0019] The pump speeds of Examples 1 and 2 are shown in Table 3 below:
[0020] table 3
[0021]
[0022] The speed of pump 5 is basically fixed at 12μL/min, and the speed of pump 4 is related to the nature of the object to be tested. It must be adjusted according to the nature of the object to be tested. Generally, it is between 100~200μL/min. Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry produces the maximum The pump speed at the signal-to-noise ratio is the best pump speed.
