Abstract

The invention discloses an ultrasonic open channel flow rate comprehensive monitoring instrument and a measuring method thereof, belonging to the field of metering. The monitoring instrument comprisesan underwater measuring equipment and an abovewater control equipment which are connected with each other by a cable, wherein the control equipment sends measurement command to the measuring equipment; the measuring equipment is used for detecting the flow rate and the liquid level and transmitting the results to the control equipment; and the control equipment stores and displays the received results. The specific steps of the method are explained in specification. The invention utilizes ultrasonic Doppler principle to measure the flow rate and ultrasonic transit-time method principle to measure the liquid level, and can simultaneously measure the water temperature. The invention can modify the working parameters of the instrument at any time, avoids the occurrence of siltation and blockage fault of sensors, displays the current working state timely, alarms in time when finding the fault, is beneficial to reducing the power consumption, and is applicable to measuring rivers or channels with wider widths; furthermore, an split-type ultrasonic wave sensor and a temperature sensor lead independent debugging to be easier, thus being easy to realize standardized production.
