Abstract

The steel with the yield strength more than 500 MPa for the automobile beam is characterized by comprising the following chemical components in percentage by weight: 0.065-0.095% of C, less than 0.15% of Si, 1.51-1.65% of Mn, less than 0.020% of P, less than 0.008% of S, 0.051-0.060% of Nb, 0.051-0.065% of V, 0.015-0.025% of Ti, 0.02-0.050% of Alt, and the balance of Fe and inevitable impurities. The invention is mainly used for the steel for automobile beams.
