The body is provided with two semicircular cylinders which are hinged into one by a hinge; two sides of the rear part of the body are provided with a convex pillar and a screw rod respectively for mounting the handgrip; and an inner taper hole is formed in the body. The inner taper sleeve consists of two semicircular taper sleeves; the middle part of the inner taper sleeve is provided with an inner hole; and the outer part of the inner taper sleeve is provided with an outer tapered face which is matched with the inner taper hole arranged in the body. The handgrip is sleeved and arranged on the screw rod on the rear part of the body and is fixed by a nut. The aluminium wire tightener is designed according to the special structure of a gap type lead and the low sag property of the lead, has a reasonable design and a simple structure, is a gap type lead clamping and tightening device, is provided with the inner taper sleeve which gradually clamps and tightens the lead with the increase of a tensile force in a tension direction, can effectively clamp and tighten the lead in the stringing construction and does not cause damages to an aluminium layer of the lead.
