Abstract

The invention provides an instrument base, which comprises a fixed seat, an adjusting part and a bearing part, wherein the adjusting part comprises a rotating frame and a gear rack device; the rotating frame is installed on the fixed seat and can rotate relatively to the fixed seat; the gear rack device is installed on the rotating frame and can rotate relatively to the rotating frame; and the rotating angle of the rotating frame is vertical to that of the gear rack device. The bearing part is installed on a gear or a rack of the gear rack device and can move along with the gear or the rack. As the instrument base can rotate to the two vertical directions, a vehicle-mounted instrument installed on the base can be conveniently adjusted to various postures. The gear rack device can also be used for adjusting the distance between the instrument and a user.
