Abstract

The invention relates to a nano modified urea resin for environment friendly artificial board and a preparation method thereof. The nano modified urea resin is prepared by implanting formaldehyde scaverger into urea resin by in-situ reaction technology, and the nano modified urea resin comprises the following components and contents (weight percent): 95-99.9% of urea resin and 0.1-5% of formaldehyde scaverger. Compared with the prior art, the nano modified urea resin for environment friendly artificial board in the invention has low free formaldehyde content, good glueability, long storage time, can control release of free formaldehyde in urea resin for a long time, overcomes the shortcomings of traditional low formaldehyde content resin such as poor binding property, easy rebound for formaldehyde release, and short storage time, thus substantially improving environment protection performance of urea resin, radically solving standard exceeding problem of free formaldehyde in indoor decoration and having great market value and social significance.
