Abstract

The invention discloses a spectrum sharing method, a corresponding base station, a mobile terminal and a communication system thereof. The invention is used in a system which comprises a base station and a plurality of mobile terminals, and utilizes a working channel and a reserve channel for communication. The method is implemented by the steps as follows: determining a beacon channel in the working channel or the reserve channel by the base station for transmitting beacon information or monitoring other beacon information in media; transmitting the determined result to the mobile terminal by the base station; setting the beacon channel in the working channel or the reserve channel by the mobile terminal according to the received determining result; and transmitting the beacon information or monitoring the beacon information in media in the set channel by the mobile terminal. By adopting the above technical scheme, the problem of low spectrum sharing efficiency in the prior art is solved.
