Abstract

The invention discloses a system, a method for arranging an adaptive program based on a strategy and a computer program product. The exemplary method comprises: collecting the arrangement and performance information of the system assembly from a computer system and evaluating the performance of the computer system based on the collected information classifying the performance evaluation value of the computer system; selecting the operation strategy based on the system classification. Each strategy defines different program settings and different limit values of the system resource utilizationlevel occupied by the programs for each kind of the computer system. The method also comprises the following steps: monitoring the occupied system resource utilization level when performing the program on the computer system to determine whether the system resource utilization level exceeds the defined limit value in the operation strategy or not. If the system resource utilization level exceeds the defined limit value, the method selects another strategy for defining different program settings and different limit values of the system resource utilization level.
