The method comprises the following steps of: setting test dimensions for the IMS core network; determining various test cases for the IMS core network, wherein the test cases are related with at least one of the test dimensions; determining test items according to the test requirements, and selecting the corresponding test cases for the test items; and determining the calling relationship among the test cases, calling and executing the selected test cases according to the determined calling relationship, and outputting test results according to the test dimensions.
