The railway interval broadband communication system comprises at least one center device, multiple station devices and multiple optical fiber call columns, wherein the center device comprises a network switch and a trunking gateway, the network switch is connected with a bearer network by virtue of a first network interface, the network switch is connected to an external network or device by virtue of the trunking gateway; and the multiple station devices are arranged along a railway and are connected to the bearer network by virtue of second network interfaces; and the multiple optical fiber call column devices are respectively connected to at least one station device by virtue of a unidirectional or bidirectional optical fiber branch and are respectively provided with an interface used for connecting an interval communication terminal device.
