Problems solved by technology

The disadvantage of this arrangement is that when the striker contacts the elastic element, it may damage the tool components located near the shaft
In addition, this configuration may also make the transmission system longer, which disadvantageously restricts the compactness of the power tool

Embodiment Construction

[0015] The impact assembly 10 and the gear box 12 of the hand-held power tool are in figure 1 shown in . The rotational output from the gearbox 12 via the drive shaft 14 is transmitted to the output shaft 18 via a connection to the striker 16 . When there is a small load on the tool inserted into the cavity 20 in the output shaft 18, the spring 22 acts as a urging element for urging the striker 16 into contact with the output shaft 18 to cause the tool to rotate. However, the drive shaft 14 is coupled to the striker 16 in a manner that allows rotation and axial movement of the striker 16 relative to the drive shaft 14 . The coupling is regulated by a ball 24 which seats partly in a slotted surface 26 in the drive shaft 14 and partly in a cavity 28 of the striker 16 . Each of the two anvil arms 30 that move against the force of the spring 22 and eventually transmit the impact to each of the two anvil arms 30 of the output shaft 16 with each of its two protrusions 29 allows th...

Abstract

The invention provides a power tool having an impact mechanism, which includes a rotary shaft defining a tool axis of rotation, an impact member moveable along the tool axis of rotation, a support member fixed in position relative to the tool axis of rotation, a biasing member for urging the impact member away from the support member, and at least one axial stop member positioned between the impact member and the support member. According to the invention, the distance between the axial stop member and the tool axis of rotation is more than the distance between the biasing member and the tool axis of rotation.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a hand-held rotary electric tool. In particular, the invention relates to an impact mechanism for an impact transmission tool comprising means for limiting the travel of an impact element. In such tools, assembly is facilitated by being designed so that the impact member is moved by overcoming the force of the spring a distance (which is greater than the normal displacement of the impact member when the power tool is in operation) such that when the The ball used in the coupling of the impact element to the rotating shaft can be inserted. However, this configuration presents the risk of the connecting sphere detaching in extreme situations, such as when the tool is dropped, thereby creating a malfunctioning tool that requires repair or replacement by the user. This extreme situation can also damage the tool in other ways, for example if the impact element were to hit other more delicate components within the drive train. Back...
