Abstract

A liquid crystal display (20) comprises a liquid crystal panel (21) and a common voltage generator (25), wherein the liquid crystal panel (21) comprises a plurality of pixel regions (202) arranged in matrix; each pixel region (202) is internally provided with a thin film transistor (203) and a storage capacitor (205); the storage capacitor (205) comprises a pixel electrode (2041) and a storage electrode (2051) which are arranged in opposite; the common voltage generator (25) supplies a common voltage to the storage electrode (2051). The liquid crystal display (20) further comprises a scanning voltage regenerator (22), and the scanning voltage regenerator (22) receives feedback common voltages from the storage electrodes (2051) and generates regeneration scanning voltages for driving the thin film transistor (203) according to the feedback common voltages. Thus, the problem of displaying picture flicker caused by common voltage flapping due to scanning voltage variation in the traditional liquid crystal display can be solved. A driving method of the liquid crystal display is also disclosed.
