Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides a method and a device for capturing carrier frequency in a wireless communication system. The method mainly comprises the following steps of: storing frame head data of a current frame; selecting initial carrier frequency from a series of pre-set carrier frequencies; performing down-conversion treatment of the stored frame head data by using the initial carrier frequency; performing correlation treatment of an output signal of the down-conversion treatment and a pseudo noise sequence signal of the wireless communication system to obtain accumulation data relative to the initial carrier frequency; calculating accumulation data relative to each carrier frequency in the series of carrier frequencies; and determining the carrier frequency relative to the maximum accumulation data as the carrier frequency of the wireless communication system. By using the method and the device disclosed by the invention, the carrier frequency of the wireless communication system can be obtained effectively; therefore, a receiving end is advantageous for accurately recovering digital information symbols of a sending end; and the performance of the wireless communication system is improved.
