The method comprises the following steps that: resource utilization rate of each calculation node on which a virtual machine runs is detected in a resource pool; the detected resource utilization rate of each calculation node is compared with a preset integrated standard value, and a calculation node with the utilization rate being lower than the integrated standard value is determined as a low utilization rate calculation node; and the virtual machine on the low utilization rate calculation node is integrated and centralized onto partial calculation nodes in the resource pool. The technical scheme is applicable to a scheduling system, and the resource scheduling with high utilization rate can be realized.
