Embodiment Construction

[0035] The invention relates to an optical analysis device for identifying a substance 2 present on a substrate 3 .

[0036] In the present invention, the substrate 3 can be of any type, including its shape, size and properties, and the substance 2 can exist on the surface of the substrate, or be integrated in the substrate.

[0037] In particular, said substrate 3 may consist of any everyday object, movable or not, and of any material, such as paper, polymers, textiles, metals, minerals or organic coatings.

[0038] In a particular variant of the invention, said substrate 3 may consist of a cell culture substrate or of biological, human, animal or plant tissue, and said device 1 may be used to detect or observe Substances, especially pigments, in the cells of or on the substrate. As an example, such a device could be used as a tool for viewing melanomas in the skin.

[0039] However, the device 1 of the invention is preferably designed to analyze documents, in particular to...

Abstract

The invention relates to an optical analysis method for distinguishing a substance present on a substrate such as an object or a document, wherein said method includes the step (a) of illuminating said substrate with a primary light beam (F1) selected in order to interact with the substance (2) so that the latter transmits, within a secondary light beam (F2) in the visible spectrum, a characteristic chromatic radiation that is not directly detectable in the secondary light beam, and a detection step (b) that comprises a selective filtration sub-step (b1) during which the secondary light beam is filtered through a spectral window of the visible spectrum adapted to said characteristic chromatic radiation in order to detect the substance (2) from the environment thereof.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the general field of devices and methods for the optical analysis of substances, objects or documents, which can detect or characterize substances present on some substrates, in particular for the identification of Field of analytical methods for document or detection of forgery. [0002] In particular, the invention relates to an optical analysis method for identifying substances present on a substrate, such as an object or a document, said method comprising: an illumination step, in which said substrate is exposed to a primary beam of light such that the emitting a secondary beam of light from the substrate in response; and a detection step in which the secondary beam is collected and analyzed. [0003] The invention also relates to an optical analysis device for identifying substances present on a substrate, such as an object or a document, said device comprising an illumination structure that generates a primary ligh...
