Abstract

The invention relates to an engine cylinder cover water chamber flow field visualization test method, which comprises the following steps of: preparing an engine cylinder cover test model; arranging an observation window in a flowing area on a cylinder cover; arranging a metal wire and a diode illuminating lamp which are insulated from the metallic cylinder cover at the upstream of a flow field area; running a water circulating system, discharging impurities in the water circulating system, running a water pump and adjusting flow to 0.5m/s to 1m/s; turning on a switch of a direct-current power supply with voltage being 10 to 100V and current being 0 to 1A, electrifying the metal wire to electrolyze water to generate hydrogen bubbles on the metal wire which is connected with the cathode by taking the metal wire as a cathode and the cylinder cover as an anode, and using the hydrogen bubbles as trace particles to flow and rotate with water; and illuminating the internal part of the cylinder cover by using the diode illuminating lamp, using a camera with a microspur function to capture the trace particles and recording the trajectory of the hydrogen bubbles generated by electrolyzed water in the flow field to obtain the motion trajectory of water molecules in the flow field of the cylinder cover.
