The intelligent tableware system comprises radiofrequency identification tags (101), tableware reading devices (3) and a master control unit (4). The radiofrequency identification tags (101) are arranged on tableware (1), the tableware reading devices (3) are arranged on containers (5) for containing food, simultaneously, the tableware (1) which is allowed to be used for taking the food from the containers (5) with the tableware reading devices (3) matches with the tableware reading devices (3), and identification information of the radiofrequency identification tags (101) of the tableware (1) and information of the tableware reading devices (3) are stored in the master control unit (4). When other unmatched tableware (1) is used for taking the food from the containers (5), the master control unit (4) reads identification information of the tableware (1) via a tableware reading device (3), if limiting conditions of the tableware (1) are not met, the master control unit (4) issues promoting information immediately to promote users to pay attention to dining sanitation, and probability that diseases are spread via spittle during dining is reduced.
