Abstract

The invention provides a method for pushing an application from a network platform to a client side and a system adopting the same. The network platform defines hyperlinks, as well as the corresponding relation between keywords and client-side programs, and formulates norms of a browser; when the network platform pushes the application, a URL (Uniform Resource Locator) of a webpage including the hyperlink linked to the application is sent to a client side; a user browses the webpage through the browser, and when the hyperlink is selected, the browser starts up the client-side program and transmits parameters in the hyperlink to the client-side program; when the client-side program starts up, analysis is introduced into the parameters, and when the network platform is required for processing is judged, the parameters are sent to the network platform through Web Service; and the network platform receives the parameters from the client-side program, and the result is retrieved according to assignment applied in the parameters and returned to the client-side program for demonstration. By adopting the invention, various network platforms can achieve application pushing to the client sides of various terminals in a unified manner.
