Abstract

In a broadcast receiver for receiving digital broadcast signals carrying a plurality of content programs or signal channels in the way of time division multiplexing, a tuner, a ADC (analog to digital converter), a submodule in a core of a demodulator and a decoder are divided into a plurality of power supply areas according to the periphery of treating steps. The plurality of power supply areas form a signal data treating channel with a plurality of stages, and the plurality of stages correspond to the power supply areas. During a time slot burst, only the power area treating the signal data is opened. Once the treatment is finished, the power area is closed. Beyond the time slot burst, the power area is closed. During a time slot before the next time slot burst starts, the ADC and the first power supply area are opened. Therefore, the receiver provided by the invention is simply not influenced by any residual data in a treating channel from a last sudden circulation and does not need to delete data.
