A bus-mounted consumption terminal is connected with a bus lot monitor in zigbee wireless mode through a data transmission unit on board unit (OBU). The bus lot monitor builds a wireless network through a coordinator function module of the zigbee and is connected with a microcomputer device of a bus lot data processing center in universal serial bus (USB) or recommended standard (RS) 485 interface mode. The bus lot data processing center is connected with a microcomputer device of a bus company settlement management center through internet. In addition, the data transmission unit comprises a central processing unit micro controller unit (MCU), a data storing unit connected with an MCU and a zigbee radio frequency unit connected with the MCU. The bus-mounted consumption terminal data transmission system based on the zigbee replaces a traditional manual collecting method, saves labor cost, reduces possibility of manual errors, well solves the problems that efficiency is low and error is easy to make in a manual collecting process, and simultaneously well solves the problems of high device cost and later-period operation cost of a general packet radio service (GPRS) method.
