The preparation method comprises the following steps of: (1) web processing: forming a preliminary web which comprises a fiber layer after opening, carding and spreading the raw materials, namely polyester fibers; (2) needling reinforcing: carrying out double-sided needling reinforcing on the fiber layer by utilizing a double-sided needling loom so that two strip-type needled fiber bundles with opposite directions are formed in the fiber layer; (3) impregnation: causing the reinforced web to enter an impregnation machine to be bonded with prepared thermal-sensing high wear-resistant emulsion resins through thermal coagulation; (4) drying: drying and setting the impregnated web to form a fabric; and (5) leather grinding: grinding the surfaces of the fabric obtained in the step (4) to be flat by utilizing a leather grinding machine to achieve real leather handfeel. The non-woven fabric and the preparation method have the following beneficial effects: environment maintenance can be improved by the preparation method; and the prepared non-woven fabric is very suitable for preparing sports goods and automotive product base materials which are required to have high wear resistance, uniform thickness and flat surfaces, not to fade and to be soft.
