Abstract

This invention relates to a method, devices and system for dealing multicast. The method includes the following steps: blocking the port one that is either an output or an input port ,and another port which is either an output port or an input ports being a root port; receiving users' messages of requesting for joining the multicast from the input port; establishing forwarding-table item transffering multicast information from the output port to the input port in the light of the multicasted multicast information and port information of the input port contained in the joining messages. Through the embodiment of the invention, multicast forwarding table item can be established when either output or input port is blocked. Therefore, when network is abnormal, the multicast rout can be enabled to directly transfer multicast data according to the established forwarding-table item so as to reduce the recovery time of multicast business.
