Abstract

The invention provides a method for supporting built-in and external WIFI data services simultaneously on a mobile platform. Through establishing a baseband management library, different basebands are abstracted to be a user list. The user list comprises difference parameters of each baseband vendor library. When a user carries out switching, a central processor of a mobile platform loads a baseband vendor library corresponding to a WIFI module according to a baseband chip type, and the central processor carries out information interaction with the WIFI module being about to be enabled. The WIFI module being about to be enabled feeds back necessary information into the user list, and the setting of self adapting parameters of different WIFI modules is completed. A power supply management unit supplies power for the WIFI module being about to be enabled, a network link is reset, the baseband management library set the WIFI module being about to be enabled over again, and service operation is completed. According to the invention, that the user carries out switching randomly between a built-in module and an external WIFI module to carry out the data services is realized.
