The URL filtering method and the URL filtering system provided by the invention realize filtering on the segmented HTTP request, make up the vulnerability in the prior art, additionally, the method and the system filter the HTTP request in a manner of gathering multiple information such as the request method, the URI, the domain name and the filename extension, so that the URL filtering conditions are enriched.
