The browser comprises a user interface module, a website detection module, an authentication information presenting module and a reminding display module, wherein the user interface module is suitable for receiving a uniform resource locator of a visited website and transmitting the uniform resource locator to the website detection module; the website detection module is suitable for requesting a safety detection device for detecting the uniform resource locator and receiving a detection result returned by the safety detection device; the authentication information presenting module is coupled to the website detection module, and is used for obtaining the website authentication information from a first server and presenting the obtained website authentication information when the detection result indicates that the uniform resource locator is a non-malicious uniform resource locator; and the reminding display module is coupled to the website detection module and is used for displaying reminding information that the visited website is a malicious website when the detection result indicates that the uniform resource locator is a malicious uniform resource locator.
