The embodiment of the application discloses a monitoring method for information flow node processing time limit. The method comprises the steps of: creating a domain object containing an information flow node to be monitored, wherein the domain object contains a newest time attribute and a time limit attribute; starting an information flow node monitoring process, reading information flow nodes of the domain object, taking a difference between processing finishing time of the information flow node and the newest time attribute value of the domain object as relative occupying time of the information flow node when the information flow node is taken as an information flow node after processing, and updating the time limit attribute value of the domain object by using the difference between the time limit attribute value of the domain object and the relative occupying time of the information flow node; and judging whether the time limit attribute value of the domain object meets a pre-set condition, and if so, triggering a condition of monitoring an event. The embodiment of the invention also provides a monitoring device for the information flow node processing time limit. The method and the device can be suitable for monitoring the information flow node under a multifarious environment with an information flow mode.
