Abstract

The invention provides an energy-saving method for a wireless sensor node, which comprises the steps of initializing the wireless sensor node, setting a timer value of a data transmit-receive module of the wireless sensor node and trigger thresholds of various data, allowing a data processing module of the wireless sensor node to judge whether the data reaches the trigger thresholds at present, starting a data delay start mode if not, starting a data immediate start mode if so, resetting the timer value of the data transmit-receive module and the trigger thresholds of the various data after final data transmit-receive completion, and switching off the data transmit-receive module. With the adoption of the method, when the data is not required to be transmitted or received, the data transmit-receive module of the wireless sensor node is switched off, so that the data transmit-receive module is prevented from being in a waiting state for a long time, and the energy consumption of a battery is reduced greatly.
