Abstract

The invention relates to a table vacuum cleaner with a vacuum housing (1) which accommodates an electrically driven suction blower (3) and a dust separating unit (4).The housing (1) is provided with a handle (5) and an opening (6). A suction nozzle (7) arranged in the opening (6) is supported to be capable of tiltably moving around an axis of rotation (D). The suction nozzle is provided with a leading edge (9) and a trailing edge (9') along the suction direction, and an entrance surface (10) defined by two edges (8, 8') of the suction nozzle. According to the invention, the distance (a) between the leading edge (9) and the trailing edge (9') of the suction nozzle (7) is greater than the distance (b) between the entrance surface (10) and the axis of rotation (D) of the suction nozzle (7). The suction nozzle (7) comprises a sliding carriage (11) at the bottom of the vacuum cleaner.
