Problems solved by technology

Since the sewing machine needs space for arranging the motor in the machine base, the arrangement of the mechanism in the machine base becomes complicated
Sewing machines increase the size of circuit boards due to the addition of motors
However, since the function of the added motor given to the sewing machine is only to move the cloth feed mechanism, there is a problem of poor efficiency.

Embodiment Construction

[0030] A sewing machine 1 according to a first embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. figure 1 The upper side, the lower side, the right side, the left side, the front side, and the back side of are respectively the upper side, the lower side, the right side, the left side, the front side, and the rear side of the sewing machine 1 .

[0031] Such as figure 1 As shown, the sewing machine 1 has a base portion 2 , a pillar portion 3 and an arm portion 4 . The stand part 2 is attached to the recessed part (illustration omitted) of the upper surface of the table 20 from above. The pillar portion 3 extends upward from the right end of the base portion 2 . The arm portion 4 extends leftward from the upper end of the pillar portion 3 . The arm portion 4 faces the upper surface of the base portion 2 . The machine arm 4 has a depression bar 44 below the left end (refer to Figure 12 ). Presser bar 44 is equipped with presser foot 17 a...

Abstract

The present invention provides a sewing machine that can also use a motor for moving a cloth feed mechanism for other purposes. The electric motor has a drive shaft. The drive shaft has grooved cams and cams. The power transmission mechanism is respectively connected with the grooved cam and the cloth feeding platform. The grooved cam moves the power transmission mechanism by rotating the drive shaft in one direction and in the opposite direction within the range of the first angle. The power transmission mechanism makes the cloth feeding platform move in the horizontal direction. The moving mechanism is arranged on the rear side of the cam. The first connecting member is arranged on the left side of the moving mechanism. The first connecting member has rollers for camming and is connected with the movable cutter. The cam moves the moving mechanism by rotation of the drive shaft to a second angle different from the first angle. The moving mechanism moves the roller to a contact position with the cam.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a sewing machine which utilizes separate motors to drive a main shaft and a cloth feeding mechanism. Background technique [0002] There is a sewing machine in which a main shaft and a cloth feeding mechanism are driven by separate motors. Since this sewing machine can freely control the cloth feed amount, various patterns can be easily sewn. For example, a cloth feed control device for a sewing machine disclosed in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 92444 of 1979 transmits the drive of a cloth feed motor to a cloth feed stand on which feed dogs are arranged via a link mechanism. When the driving shaft of the cloth feeding motor rotates back and forth within a predetermined angle, the link mechanism makes the cloth feeding table move back and forth along the cloth feeding direction of the sewing machine. The sewing machine disclosed in the aforementioned gazette includes, in addition to a motor for driving the main shaft, ...
