Embodiment Construction

[0018] exist figure 1 A cross-sectional view of a housing 10 according to a first embodiment of the invention is shown in . In the example, housing 10 is constructed in two parts and consists of plastic. Alternatively, the housing may be constructed of other suitable materials, such as aluminum or steel. The housing has a cover 17 and a barrel-shaped base 16 , wherein the cover 17 can be placed on the base 16 . A circuit carrier, which is designed as a circuit board 20 in the example, is arranged in the base 16 . The printed circuit board 20 can be formed, for example, from fiber-reinforced plastic or ceramic, and have conductor tracks and electronic components, not shown. For fastening the circuit board 20 , the base 16 has a projection 19 on which the circuit board 20 is arranged and fastened, for example by means of screws. Other fixation options may also be considered. Alternatively, the circuit board 20 may be fixed to the housing wall by pressing in pins or side rai...

Abstract

The invention relates to a housing (10) for accommodating an electronic circuit carrier (20). The circuit carrier (20) has a first (26) and a second side (28) opposite thereto, wherein at least one contact wire (30) is pressed in from the first (26) side of the circuit carrier (20). According to the invention the housing (10) comprises at least one support element (12, 14). The support element (12, 14) is associated with a region (24) on the second side (28) of the circuit carrier (20) around the pressed-in contact wire (30). The advantage of the housing (10) according to the invention is that a stop for the electronic circuit carrier (20) is formed by the at least one support element (12, 14), so that deflection and distortion of the circuit carrier (20) in the region of the pressed-in contact wires (30) is limited during the pressing-in operation.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a housing for accommodating a circuit carrier and a method for assembling a housing for accommodating a circuit carrier according to the preamble of claim 1 . Background technique [0002] Housings are known from the prior art, in which a circuit carrier can be arranged, which has electrical and / or electronic components contacted thereon, thereby protecting the circuit from external influences. In general, a circuit carrier arranged in such a housing must be in contact with external devices such as electrical consumers, power sources or electronic components. The preferred contacting method here is the known press-in technique, in which the contact wires are pressed directly into metal-coated contact holes of the circuit carrier, wherein the contact holes are in electrical contact with the conductor tracks of the circuit carrier. The diameter of the ends of the pressed-in contact wires is slightly larger than the diameter of t...
